Hey Summoners!

The purpose of this post is really to get some feedback towards making and publishing Fan Art. For all those out there who are well and truly active in such activities, I congratulate you! However, there needs to be room for one more person, me.

I am pretty good at art and know quite a lot of things regarding soft wares and mediums to create art on, so - having said that - I want to know what is the best method to make Fan Art with? I have done so many other styles of art except for this. I do have a Wacom tablet (which I know is quite popular) However, is there any hope for the ol' pencils, paint and paper? I highly prefer making art that way.

If you can reply to this post that would be awesome, if not then it really doesn't stop me.. Just feedback would be nice.

Skindisease.. Well I'm not touching you! Jk. Seriously though.

Anyways, I'm a artist myself and I like to draw with Paint Tool Sai. Originally, I did artwork on the Windows Paint every computer had because I was a total newb but I got so good at it that my friend recommended me Paint Tool Sai. And when I started using it, I fell in love with it. So it's a great start.

PS: I don't use a tablet. All mouse.

People generally seem to be more attracted by digital art these days, but I've seen plenty of superb traditional fan art for LoL, too! If you enjoy that more, I don't see any reason to force yourself to do it digitally. :P

You could also try scanning in traditional works and just doing slight touch ups to them and experiment that way! Most art programs have trials you can use to check out whether you like working with them.

I personally used an old version of Adobe Photoshop Elements that came bundled for free with some hardware for a long time and liked that a lot, but there are plenty of other options available!

If you're planning to go digitally, Paint Tool SAI is a great choice if you're really good at art, but not on the level to do paints in Photoshop or something.
It has a great stabilizer feature for tablets that no other programs that I know actually include. (Helps make smooth lines so you don't worry about hand shake)
