So you're playing league of legends (or the beta) during the busiest part of the day. There's a hefty login queue, but that's expected and fine. You make and eat a sandwich, then you join the matchfinder.
You start a game and then, for whatever reason, it crashes. No problem, just relaunch it and OH DAMN THE QUEUE.
It's my opinion that if you're already in a game you should be able to skip the queue and reconnect to your game. We already ping the servers several times during the queues, so it shouldn't be to hard to have the first check ask if you're currently in a game and skip the queue if so.
Sure there will be a tiny bit of extra overhead, but not much since they'll only be reconnecting to matches currently being simulated.
