Hello everyone, so recently....about 2 weeks agoish I started getting this ping lag where it sits at 260-265 ping and just sit there.

The confusing part here is that I'm not lagging in ANY other game, programs nor am I downloading anything. This happens randomly and the ping doesn't fluxuate at all.

This is the second time this has happened, last time only timed solved it. I asked my more technical friend and he said it's probably a server between me and Riot having troubles (I live in Canada) but I figured I'd ask here to see if anyone has a possible solution as all I'm doing when I get this ping is being a burden to my team.

Edit - If people could provide their location that would be great too, it seems to be a Canada/Telus/B.C problem.

Yeah, I'm currently having the same problem. I'm in Canada too. Provider is Telus.

Same situation here. I ran a tracert on it and there seems to be a HUGE delay on the hop getting to internap.com (they are a large backbone provider for the interwebz). Not sure if riot can do anything about this, unless they are using them for hosting something (which I doubt). I've been getting 270 ping constantly for a few hours between 7-930pm for the past week. Quite frustrating.

I went from a solid 35-40 to now a 124 on the LOW SIDE of things. Today it decided it was going to ping out to 157-167 range. Making the game almost unplayable when you play nothing but skill shot champs.

Please Riot? Help?

Just played a custom game at 264-265

BC, Canada. Telus.

Same problem, from BC Canada, Telus, I phoned the provider and they told me they had nothing to do with it. 260 - 270 ping. This happened yesterday to me at 7 PM - 9 30 PM PST.

same here! stuck at 260ish ping in game, checked speedtest only got 10ping. My ISP is Telus in BC
