Now I'm not sure if you are able to read very well or if you just have a very selective reading. Take a look at the little phrase in there that is bold. How does that mean Every old TT player? A good chunk of them means a good chunk. The controllers of words didn't suddenly get together and say "From now on when ever someone says "a good chunk" it means Every or all."
I'm not saying you said every or all. Where did I say that? I'm saying your comments are anecdotal and speculative. You have absolutely *no* data to support your assumptions except your personal experience, and your personal experience can only account for the tiniest percentage of the TT community. You are the one arguing semantics. I'm stepping back and saying that your assumptions are baseless.

Only Riot has the data to show what % of the community used to play TT that left, or shifted from SR to TT, or TT to SR, etc. You can not make these statements and tout them as fact. Period.

New TT map is solid with imo a better jungle and the altars add nice elements for teamfights. From what i've experienced the item exclusions could use some work. Champs that benefit from life steal (AD's) like Fiora, Xin etc. have become a bit op without the counter build options like the Thornmail to offset the high attack speed/life steal which pretty much all of em build. even the items that give Grievous wounds as a castable ability dont do enough to offset this. Maybe im just a noob and maybe this isnt what everyone experiences but just a here to put in my two cents

IMO and from experience (which may not be much) the new TT is a bad attempt to make something new, the old TT was so simple, it was good.
TT is a small ganking map, wards were removed because it was to small for them. Personally I like no wards because my gut instict is pretty good.

In the defense of Fiora, with thornmail she was useless, the enemy would just build thornmail and she was done. They had to remove it and I hope it gets removed in the other maps aswell. They reworked Eve because Oracle and vision wards, core gameplay items, countered her. This time instead of fixing Yi, Fiora, Xin, and other champs hard countered by thornmail it is easier to just remove thornmail.

Although I do expect a simlar, weaker item to take its place, one the defends against these champs but does not hard counter them.

You don't own League of Legends. You accept a license agreement and Riot lets you play their game. You pay for access to champions and skins, but not ownership in the game.

While I'm not against the idea of adding TT to the list of custom games, there's probably a legitimate reason as to why they are not doing so. If I was in their position, I'd want you to play the new map and identify everything that you hate about it. I'd want you to give constructive and thoughtful feedback on how it can be a better map. If I make the old TT available to you in Custom Games, well, that's all you're going to do. You won't give the new map the attention it deserves, or the opportunity for it to represent something you will enjoy playing... because change is terrifying.

Just my .02
Main reason I stopped playing it was because it was unfun. That is the bottom line. If they brought back the Real TT, of course I would be playing it. Its the map I enjoyed.

And you bring up another typical bull**** point. If these people hated change they would be playing SR from the moment this game was introduced to them. If they hated change SR would have 0 fan base. I wanted change, which is why when I was introduced to LoL so many years ago I liked the champions enough but the "similar" ol 5v5 map was too boring for me to play on any longer. So I "changed" to Twisted Treeline and enjoyed that it was basically the same thing as summoners rift yet more my style. Smaller battles, turtling wasn't bad to me but people seemed to dislike it, and the size of the map made it more interesting for me.

This new map did change TT completley, it wasn't a change I wanted. If they simply updated the graphics, put that wall between the nexus and the summoners platform, and made the new boss but kept the old jungle or at least improved the old jungle (which they didn't) I would of been happy and would not have uninstalled. This new map is far against what I wished. They took what the TT people were complaining about and went far overboard.

Good for the people who enjoy this map, it is not fun to a lot of other people who Riot Alienated in the process of bringing this new map. Also it is a slap in the face. True we do not own any portion of this game unlike the box sets. But many of us did give money to Riot because we supported our map. Now that they got rid of the only reason many of us old TTers enjoyed the map, of course we feel cheated. Yeah its a game, so what. Yeah we shouldn't of spent money on Riot, so what. In the end a lot of us want our old map back and then maybe some or most would be on both maps. That is more than most of the old TTers not being on the new map at all.

Quite a few of my friends who only played 3v3 switched over to 5v5s and where they use to spend hours a day playing 3v3 matches, now they will play maybe one or two 5v5 games then quit LoL for the day.

I don't care if Riot keeps the new Shadow Isles or not. I'm not wasting my time on something I find uninteresting/fun. Hell I won't even suggest this game to my friends anymore who don't play LoL like I use to. Why should I suggest a game to them that holds little interest to me anymore? The only interest I have left is browsing the TT forum in hopes they bring the old map back. When they do I will reinstall and maybe even buy some more skins to support them over time.

The old map was good. Needed a little work, but not made into this entirely new map that is pure trash

If you look through any software license agreement, you dont own ANYTHING.

Still - if companies consistently tried to completely remove a major part of a piece of software which people had purchased a license for, the users would be well within their rights to demand refunds on their license, as they no longer had the software that they had purchased rights to. Granted, most of them are doomed to failure, as TOU forms are as anti-consumer as most legal departments can make them, but morally, I think if you buy something, you should get to have it. This "Rights renting" bull**** is just that.

I can use the same logic that poll makers make their logic. True many LoL players do not visit the forum, true there is a smaller amount of Old TT players than SR. Like polls you can take the good chunk of people trying to get their beloved map back on these forums and put together a good Idea of the ones who do not voice their opinions and include them in a general result. Of course I can not say exactly how many do this or that, but just like the people who do the polls you can get a good Idea of a basic % of who is going where, doing what, and thinking what.

Does it mean it is 100% true? No. The only way to get a true 100% factual Poll would be to ask everyone who played TT and see what they think. And what a good chunk of these players will most likely want based on the % who are sharing what they wish, is that they want both maps. How in any way would this effect you?
