@Lyte, the Tribunal is a flawed system and here's why:

The basic premise here is that once you get a warning/ban, all games played before that warning/ban should be removed from further consideration in the tribunal. I am 100% agreed.

Tribunal is supposed to only take into account games since your last warning/ban, to my knowledge.

Zileas explained this already. They understand that their emails, which go out in batches, may be too slow and they need to speed things up. However, the only way to get banned so soon after the warning is if you are so toxic that in the short time span between the warning being issued and the email being sent out, you've already racked up enough reports to reach the Tribunal again. In short, you weren't penalized twice for the same events. You were so toxic in the short time between when the warning was issued and when the email came out that you managed to rack up another Tribunal case. Perhaps you needed some time off.

tribunal is ultimately a failure though riot doesn't want to admit it because it's an inexpensive way of dealing with 'annoying' players.

That OR the tribunal needs to move faster. I got warned for games that were at least a month ago. I should've been warned a week tops instead as that would've caused me to improve my behavior and not get banned.

Maybe that is the case, however as I said above the games I got warned for were a month before I received my warning. If I was truly that toxic then I should have gotten a warning much sooner then I did allowing me to modify my behavior.

Edit1:
If I had gotten the warning after those games that I was being toxic in, but before the games I got banned for, I know for a FACT that I would not have gotten banned. Why? Because my reaction to the warning would've been the same, which was: "Damn I'm being an *******, I need to clean up my behavior before I get banned!" Instead though, I got warned months later for those games, and then got banned immediately after my warning.
1. Ok, see ya.

2. Yes, I can imagine that it was a let down. You had this "I'm gonna turn over a new leaf!" attitude and then got smacked with another punishment. The things you need to carefully realize:

A. You didn't get punished for something you didn't do. The punishment is in no way "unfair."

B. The Tribunal punishment system is not (nor can it be) based on how you WANT to behave in the future. It can only go by your past actions.

C. I agree, the past actions should have been judged before the more recent issues--or they should have been lumped together. But the outcome would still be the same.
In other words, you didn't get some kind of harsher punishment because of the backwards way the Tribunal ran your case.

The argument that you somehow didn't realize you were being a d-bag could not possibly be less persuasive. If you really are that severely lacking in insight maybe a break from LoL would be the best.

You reap what you sow.

Perhaps I shouldn't judge a player by his/her name but I am not in the least surprised that someone with that summoner name doesn't like the tribunal.

u shouldnt

ive never been so much was warned. im probably reported very very infrequently because i dont say a hell of a lot.

it does put a bad taste in my mouth that there's little recourse in this system and that there's no set metric for what = punish and what = pardon. furthermore pregame chat isn't included. surrender votes aren't included. objectives taken aren't included. summoner levels aren't included. you just get a basic chat log for a multi-million playerbase game. it's an inexpensive cop-out on riot's part of actually dealing with player behavior and letting the playerbase sort it out.

i just can't see how people can so vehemently defend something like that.

Frankly everybody going on how "TRIBUNAL DOESN'T WORK WAAAH", don't even know how Tribunal works.

If anything, the reason why Tribunal don't work is that people who do Tribunal don't know how it works...
