People who say Teemo counters Darius are pretty stupid. Darius v Teemo is pretty much a perfect skill-matchup, as both are about equally strong and who wins lane entirely depends on the player. Darius does the minority of his damage with AA's and majority with hiss Q and his Ult and earlygame Q is enough to shred about 40% of Teemo's HP.

Really, every single match-up depends on the players. However, with equally skilled players, Teemo will beat Darius. Teemo's AA range outranges all of Darius' abilities, so Teemo can harass without much fear of getting harassed back. And if Teemo sees Darius walking towards him, Teemo can just run away before Darius can reach him.

what're u talking about teemo's damage is one of the highest in the game peopel don't realize how much damage his e scales up

generally the idea is that the teemo player's competent enough to blind the enemy darius if he grabs him so he can't apply his slow then run away and poke him to death. or just avoid his grab entirely. darius would beat teemo hands down if they decided to engage in a straight fight without teemo doing anything kiting but we're assuming the teemo player knows how to do that. It's kinda like how kassadin supposedly counters mid laners but if the enemy knows how to play they can still push him out.

Teemo is a counterpick meant to shut down top, split push, distract, and give map control to the friendly team so that the other lanes would dominate their lanes and carry themselves to victory.

A Teemo who acts like a carry is a f*cktard. Teemo is a counter-pick, with a specific niche.

Lol i love this thread, teemo does not work, but Elise that has basically comparable mechs and is just as squishy does... To top it off she has to do it melee.

If you build him AP, yes he hits really hard, but any smart Teemo doesn't build him AP.

by the time teemo blinds anyone he will have already fed. Even if he doesnt die they the carry can still spam abilities. Even if this means nothing teemo has to escape. Even if he can the blind doesnt last that long, even if it did, if a carry is shredding a squishy its unlikely he can help, even if he can there are many champs who couldve done more
