Tired of being stuck with teams that pick all AP or AD, or all squishy carry champs and build glass cannons.

Also sometimes people will rage and/or quit when you choose champs like Sivir to counter the enemy lane (spell shield). I'd rather go through 10 match-up screens then a 10 minute ban - or worse - a 20 minute feed match.

Ranked is not about creativity, it's about what works, if you wanna be creative go play norms or custom.

Good idea, I think it's better than a vote-kick system where you kick an individual player. In the situation of an individual kick system you end up with scenarios in which someone can be kicked for picking an unpopular champion.

who's to say what works and does'nt? im not saying try random and crazy builds, but a lot of champs can be played more than 1 way. who is to say one is better or works better.

do 3 out of 5 people from a queue know what will work? hardly.

also the meta is'nt the same everywhere. i hear ad kennen is common solo top in korea. in NA it probably wouldnt have a warm reception. but it "works" by all accounts as displayed in korea. your just closing yourself off and running into a rut mentally, as many players often do.

I'm not saying no to AD kennen, that's viable. I'm just saying some people want to do goofy things, like no ranged ad, no apc, etc... All I'm saying is that this is a team sport type of game; every soccer team has a goalie, every baseball team has a pitcher, and every ranked game has a jungler

I like that, it's a good idea that could be incorporated. I'm hoping that something posted by the signers of this thread will strike a chord with the LoL staff.

agreed, but this system as is, is open to people forcing disbands based on personal opinion of builds and champs, which i know riot does not want to do. hindering champ selection will hurt gameplay immensely. some may say its worth it to get the game going, but they are short sighted. this will hinder the game progression as a whole. imagine if no one was able to develop ad bruiser nid because most solo/duo queue got disbanded when they proposed it, which im sure when people first started it, a majority of players looked down on them and thought AP nid was the only option. not saying ad nid would of never happened in this scenario, it would of just took longer and probably not developed to its current status.

i know that is not what you intend, but its vulnerable to it. if one can find a fix to this, then this system can take a big step forward.

BUT: This needs to be 4 of the 5 players would need to vote the 5th out. This would prevent the unskilled, trolling, and raging players that are obvious in the team select. Also, this needs to be only in solo/duo queue ranked games. That way there is no way for a premade 4 to continue to boot their 5th person. This voting system would cause no issues. The odds of getting 4 trolls on your team that want to kick you for "fun" is unbelievably low. And if that's the case, you wont want to be on that team anyways. If someone is obviously not going to work on the team "ANYTHING BUT SUPPORT" - (we all know these people) and all 4 other teammates choose to not play with this person instead of having to dodge and wait 30 minutes because of this player, then that player would be removed from that queue and given a 5 minute ban to prevent them from being thrown back into that same mix. VERY SIMPLE SOLUTION TO A HORRIBLE PROBLEM.

Agreed, we need vote system. In order to prevent people abusing it you do the following:

Require 4 man vote to kick someone. You will rarely see 4 people agree to kick someone who is not a troll or because they think the comp is bad. Will there be one or two people that think the comp is bad? Yes, but most people don't dodge because of that. Hell you will find it tough to surrender in a game when you are down 35 kills. 90% of the time you get the surrender vote cancelled 3v2. So please don't over exaggerate this. The majority of dodges come from avoiding trolls. Period. So yes, this would reduce the dodges.

Only have the vote system in solo/duo ranked. Not on in normals and of course not in 5 man ranked. Then you cannot have premades of 3 or 4 bullying queues. I also don't see riot using this as an excuse to not have a reporting system in place. You know how many times 4 mana queues in normals have threatened to report me falsely if I don't do what they want.
