Myself and at least 4 friends all get the same exact thing

I don't understand why I can spectate people playing, but not actually play a game myself. What's the difference between the two?

For those worried about being banned I sent a ticket to RIOT about this issue a little over a month ago. The response advised against playing normal and ranked until custom or bot games were able to run.

He has a point though. Why risk getting banned because you didn't take the time to test a custom game first to see if the game was working for you yet? Precautions are always good.

... this is awful, I lag like hell on teamfights, I have lost so many games now because of that, I win my lane and manage to avoid ganks or kill the jungler, double kills or triple kills even! none of that matters because when late game strikes I CAN'T DO ANYTHING!!!! the enemy team ends up going ahead because the fed one (me) suddenly had a hard case of retardness (lag) and stood still! it's not fair that I have to play AGAINST BOTS just so that I can earn my win of the day, it's not ok and I'd like to get the time I spent on those games back somehow -.- I demand, as a customer, a fix to this, because it's simply infuriating and yes I'm raging here the hardest I've ever raged because of all the flak I've received in my games yet I manage to stay calm! FIX IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!

I've still struggled with extremely high ping, and I know it's not just me because I've seen a drastic increase in high ping in the games I've played.
