I noticed they have a nasty habit of snowballing after 2 or 3 kils, which an ap/ad carry cant do. The worst part of it is how hard it is to stop them, their kits pretty much providing them what they need to chase/run away easily.

Ad carries are quite similar in their jobs except they take twice as long to do it compared to ap assasins(earlier on), which is really what stops them from dominating.

Any thoughts?

Double edged sword. If they dont get kills then theyre absolutely useless because they generally have no hard cc. An un-fed Kat does pitiful damage and a Negatron goes a long way. If they cant kill you with their full combo then theyre sitting ducks because their escape mech is generally part of their combo.

That applies to pretty much every champion except supports, but assasins do a large amount of damage even if they are behind. In a small skirmish it isnt rare to see kat/diana/fizz/akali pick up a few kills and take it from there.

Just gank 'em and don't let them get farm or kills, wait until 20 minutes, and they are struggling to kill wraiths for gold. The thing is that AP ratios and items are more cost effective than most ADC items. But in long terms, an ADC will outcarry any AP assassin in a 45 minutes game, giving that he's not feeding.

You also have the fact that if they fail to burst you, they're now on cooldown in their squishy bodies with no damage left... So maybe if you.... Fight back?


Oh and to the dumbass far above, Kass stomps most mages because his kit is designed to fight magic mages. Put him against something that isn't a magic mage, there you go. Especially a Ranged AD Carry.
