Xavier was led into the tent and he look looks over the people in the tent while listening the the huge man in front of him. A girl whose magical presence felt hot, possibly a wielder of fire and another woman who seemed almost regular but something told him that he should keep his mind clear. At hearing the man finish speaking, Xavier stood unblinking in deep thought. He was actually not worried or bothered in the slightest keeping his cool so to speak. The mainland was compromised and it was up to these people to try to save the remains of life. For some days he knew something was wrong as his magic grew exponentially as if chains had been released. So much tainted energy in the air.

He spoke with a resounding voice that seem to shake like thunder except not as booming loud. "When is it that we shall departure for the mainland to do this?"

Eredale has been sitting on the ground and leaning on one of the tent's poles for quite a while now. Witnessing the refugee camps was not really inspirational, and given that he did not have any contacts there whatsoever, starting on his search right now would be unreasonable. The silent armored figure wasn't cheerful either, so he just sat inside the tent, lazily probing the shadowy figure's identity with tiniest detection spells, revealing nothing but the fact that its resistance was on a much higher level. Not willing to incur suspicion, the mage simply waited for someone else to arrive.

Hearing the mission, he looked over the group again, probing them in the same way, without moving. Here, was a minor success - he could see that two were fighters at the core, but the third one was at least just as resistant. Well, whatever she was, there were already two forwards, and that should be enough for him, he thought. Enough for a rescue mission, at least.

The important questions were asked, and he waited again for the armored man to speak.

Firion's eyes moved ever so slighty as they came rest upon the woman who spoke.
"Yes. Into the shadows. More will be going over with us, but it will only be those in this tent to go within the shadows. A force to large will draw to much attention."
Beneath Firion's helm his eyes seem to flash slightly once more unseen by everyone but Eradale, Eradale would be able to see an almost blinding light tear itself outwards from the man, the light itself was filled with a holy power. Images would surge forth from the light, Eradale may notice an area that was the Institute before it fell. Firion stood tall in his armour that was still shrouded in shadows, all manner of twisted creatures lay dead around him, It seemed this was about the time of the fall. The image would fade almost as fast as it appeared, Firion's voice would thunder through the room though only Eradale would be able to hear.
"If you wished to know something. You had only but ask."

His eyes dim once more as he looks at the rest of the group,
"We will be leaving once we are done here. Provisions will be provided. There is an opening within the shadow where we will enter. It will not last forever."
As he finishes speaking the flap of the tent opens and a woman in blue robes enters, a hood obscuring her head stops all but Firion knowing who she was, though if they tried they would be able to sense immense power from within her, she looked human yet there were things about her that didn't seem right. One of the main differences they would be able to tell was that she was scared by time magics and could not age. She makes her way to Firion and whispers to him to which he replies with a nod.
"Unless you have other things to attend. We all leave now."
He stands and stares around the tent before walking to the exit, his great body effortlessly moving the obviously heavy armour. As he exits the tent they would be able to see him in full detail, his heavy white armour trimmed with golden flowers, on the left of his hip hung a large one handed mace made of black steel, his full faced helm still obscuring any view of his face. He was handed a large tower shield that was made of the same white metal as the rest of his armour. He then made his way to the shore and simply stood and waited. Off in the distance two boats small boats were making their way towards the shore, they were only big enough to carry around ten people at full capacity.
The woman in blue robes made her way from the tent holding a small wooden box, as she existed the tent the unnatural darkness seemed to leave with her. She now stood next to Firion not saying a word.

Alexandria listened intently to the plan and nodded, it was smart... if they had come in with too big a force they'd simply send enough to overpower them... but if they sent a small force like this then they may just ignore it completely....maybe... She watched the woman in the blue robes, her eyebrow raised slightly out of curiosity. Perhaps if she had a chance later then she would be able to talk to her about the strange magical presence she possessed. When Firion left, and the woman followed, Alexandria nodded and followed after, quickly making her way to the shore and standing near the other two, though a comfortable distance away. She unsheathed her sword, a strong heat emanated from the pitch red steel. She swung it a couple times before sheathing it again, the heat seeming to vanish in a moment.

Christina watched the spectacle with minor interest, not moving as Firilon talked. Instead, her own mind flitting around into those of the others. Finding out there were two warriors and then another of similar ability. A rival of sorts, Christina thought as she met comparatively minor resistance to her assaults but she delved deep enough to just find out a name.

As Firilon walked out, Christina moved to follow but she had other plans before they left.
"Give me a minute, need to sort out my affairs." She explained before walking off towards the house she had bought. It was only a minute away and there were but a couple of things to do.

She pushed the door open to her house and looked around with a sigh, everything she owned was here and now she was leaving it once again. Probably to never see it all again. Gathering up a bag, she packed some essential clothes, a couple of spare knives, cleaning equipment and a picture. One of her and James. She also grabbed anything she could give away, pretty much all of her money, non-essential clothes and a couple of swords.

She slung her personal bag over her body and carried the other stuff in four big duffel bags. On her way back to join the others, Christina handed the duffel bags over to people who helped out at the refugee camp, explaining what was in each and that they were for them to use how they see fit, so long as it helped others.

When Christina returned to the group, they would see that she seemed relieved yet resolute at the same time. A soft smile tugging at her lips as she walked, crowbar in her waistband as always.

Xavier watched the woman with much interest. Something was off about her, and it was mildly unsettling. He only watched Firilon walk out the tent before he soon followed suit. This man was more than meets the eye, much energy resides inside the armor. Though his mind was clear as he breathed the open air while walking to the shore. Sparks would come off of him once in a while as he stood with the group waiting. A trip into the shadows where possible death waits did not faze the mage. Looking off to his right at the refuges, one in a large cloak seems to be watching. A strange omen indeed.

Eredale simply followed his new 'employers' - technically, there shouldn't be any payment for a task like this, but he was not looking for money either. He just needed a favor from someone in the higher ranks, one that could not be granted easily, and in order to obtain it, he would have to do the job properly. Right now, all of his attention was on the composition of their group. Without mistake, he'd make a strong 'tank', as was the customary nickname for that role in the old Institute. And, with another (probably) spellcaster, their firepower was sufficient enough. All in all, it was a balanced taskforce - he didn't even need any questions as he awaited departure.

As the boat grew closer the woman in the blue robes gestured for those following Firion to come to her, opening the box the woman showed everyone around what was inside. A small fragment of a nexus, darkness seemed to come from the shard in pulses causing everyones vision to turn black and white for a few seconds before turning back to normal, the shard would then pulse and cause the colour to drain from the world once more. She carefully picks up the small fragment in one hand and begins to speak, her voice soft almost a whisper;

"We need to go deep within the shadows, normally that would mean being ripped apart by whatever was in there... But we have found a way to make it fear us... To part as we approach. That was one reason it did not simply devour Noxus when the void laid seige... In this shard there is trapped a great evil made purely of the nightmares and fears of every creature known to Runeterra. You will all know it as Nocturne."

She places the shard carefully back into the box and looks at the group from beneath her hood,

"Though the shadows already fears the shard, it will only fear those holding it. Not those around it, The reason the shadows didn't invade Noxus was because the Black Rose, as they call themselves, were infact channeling the aura around the Nexus shard to surround Noxus it. I cannot do that, but what I can do it bring a piece of him into each of you. Not enough so that he may manifest outside the nexus, but he may be able to speak. I have already done it for myself, Firion here... Is already feared by the shadows. Who is willing?"

By now the boats had arrived upon the shore a group of Ionian military soldier were moving aboard one while the other boat was empty. Firion silently made his way to the boat.

Alexandria smiled, so that was the plan, use darkness to fight darkness eh? She had heard about Nocturne and wasn't very excited about the idea of him being inside her.. but if it was just a little bit of him it should be fine, and if it meant possible saving a few survivors then it was worth it. She stepped forward, bowing politely "I'm willing." she said, a look of determination on her face as she watched the shard. "What does the process entail?"

Christina stepped closer, blinking as her vision got altered and changed by the shard. Most disconcerting. The mention of Nocturne, the nightmare champion, was most intriguing, Christina would have to know how they managed to trap him in such a small object.

Her eyes narrowed as she looked up at the hooded woman, using her 'talents' to see what she could uncover from the woman's mind. Not too deep should there be a backlash but maybe just a name, a homeland. Simple information.

The further mention of the Black Rose brought a smirk to the red heads lips, oh how she remembered them and her escapades with LeBlanc. Infiltrating their base, stealing their information. How fun it was when she were younger. However, when allowing a piece of Nocturne into her body was brought up, the smirk was wiped off her face quickly. The only person she had ever allowed into her mind was James and that was a long time ago...Christina was nervous but never the less, she stood tall and gave the woman a nod, indicating that she was willing to go through with this endeavour.
