Clicking on links off the actual game always opens IE

When you're logged into the actual LoL game, if you click on any of the news links it always opens up in Internet Explorer. My default browser is set to Firefox and anything else that opens a new browser or tab always goes through FF. I can only assume LoL is hardcoded to use IE which I hope changes soon. A lot of people don't like IE.

Many people agree with you, but I don't think this is terribly high on their priority list.

This is incredibly annoying, especially as LoL uses Air which properly respects the default browser in other apps I'm using.
