Realizing where this was about to be going if he stayed, Number 14 chose not to. He'd drawn her attention off of Klava for, hopefully, long enough for him to get his footing back well and good. So instead of trying to stick on, he simply landed right into a new leap, wing assisted this time, going high into the air. Corrosive spit was locked and loaded, now he just needed to get into position to fire.
