Mizuhi smirked "I'll be sure not to plan on doing much then." she gently pushed herself up and turned her body around so that she was now hovering above Silas, supported by her arms on either side of his head. She kept smiling down at him "I do feel safe with you..." if he looked up at her, he would see that she was just in the way of the sun, causing the light to hit her back and cause her to appear almost shining above him. She leaned in slowly, gently touching his lips with her own but soon giving in to a long and passionate kiss.

Sona was hesitant, holding one arm still on to Arixus as she held out her other arm, swinging it out in a wave-like pattern. She looked back at him, trying to see if she was doing it properly.
Arixus reaffirmed his grip on Sona's waist, to reassure her that she was safe, that he would keep her from going under. Still, he drew a teensy bit closer to ease the burden when she did release his shoulders entirely. He didn't know why, but he was actually rather okay with the silence. It felt like the largest admission of trust he'd been given in some time, without a single word to say as much. For that exact reason, it felt like it meant so much more than merely being told.

He was sure, between her arms and his help, she could pull it off and given enough practice she could manage just fine. There was, however, one last trick up his sleeve to perhaps ease the process. The thought of it turned his cheeks red again, causing him to avert his gaze from Sona for a moment.

((This seems like it would be cool to post in regularly. How might one acquire a position here?))

Silas brought his arms around Mizuhi, losing himself in the kiss for as long as he was able, his perception of the outside world utterly closing. When the kiss finally broke, Silas looked visibly perturbed. He waited for some time, taking in the angelic picture before him, his features softening a bit from it. "Mizu... I'm glad you're happy and everything but... What about your... Uh, what about Isidore, I think was his name?"

The dust cloud barreled through a group of umbrellas, turning itself into a small object of worry by onlookers.
Staff and patrons alike turned their heads to look at the land based projectile, some simply staring on in stunned silence, others turning to question the others around them. None could really decide what it was that was happening, some sort of magical phenomenon or scientific marvel. The only thing they could agree upon was that if it was to hit something, it would be catastrophic. A few cries of concern rose up, but human nature quickly made their attention divert to more important things, like their own relaxation, the key to their vacation.

((Like a job? Just ask for one, finding the owner isn't hard, and he's more than willing to give people jobs. Usually loiters around the lobby, which is where he is at the moment. 'Course, if you just meant how to get in, I hear the front door works, and the beach is a simple walk through the lobby, open to all.))

Mizuhi looked visibly saddened by the mention of Isidore, sighing deeply "I think... He might have just left me honestly... With how long it's been, it's not the kind of relationship I had in mind anyway... him being gone all the time..." she smiled toward him "I'd much rather stay here with you." she leaned in to kiss him again but caught a glimpse of the dust cloud rocketing toward them, she rolled her eye. "Ugh, that's going to be annoying..." her eyes lit up a bright blue, glowing as water began to rise up from the sand and soon encased the pair in an orb of water. Inside the orb was a pocket of air for the two to breath while the water around them would protect from the oncoming dust cloud.

Sona felt reassured that she was doing fine once Arixus placed his hand around her waist. She still didn't feel completely confident she'd be able to hold herself up by just moving her arms around, but she did trust Arixus enough to catch her if she did start slipping.

She continued moving her arms outward slowly as Arixus starts to avert his gaze. Thinking she did something wrong, she immediately stopped and looked back, grabbing onto his solder for support again.

She tried to silently mouth the words "Did I do something wrong?" as clearly as she could, hoping he understood her.

Arixus shook his thoughts away as Sona grabbed his shoulder again, immediately responding to what he assumed was panic by pulling her into a hug, lifting her higher out of the water as he did. He looked back at Sona immediately, blush vanishing, replaced instead with a look of worry. "You were doing fine Sona, are you alright?"

He took a tentative step closer to shore, just in case. It was only once his own sense of panic had retreated that he realized he was clutching Sona protectively, one arm across her back, the other her waist. A nervous laugh sounded from him, but he didn't want to let her go, instead asking if he should.

Sona couldn't explain it, but she felt safe as Arixus held closer to her, allowing him to pull her into an embracing hug.

She nodded back and absentmindedly brought herself closer to Arixus, not wanting to let go not out of fear of drowning, but of a different reason even she didn't fully understand.

Resting on the plate aside the main course was an assortment of perfectly steamed vegetables, most of a fairly exotic nature. Finally, there sat in a refrigerated compartment a bowl of vanilla ice cream, with an artful layer of melted chocolate painted across it in wave patterns.

In all, the meal was a fairly simple one, but each of the courses was quickly and skillfully toiled over by a chef, with hand-selected ingredients and careful skill befitting a well seasoned chef.
"That looks very... uh good I must say I'm surprised"
She sat at he table with the bowl of soup in front of her and she took he first scoop.
"mmm that is really good."
