Could you guys try loading into a custom game and reducing your graphics settings to all very low? In addition try disabling shadows. I want to see if their is a work around for the short term.

Also, try disabling your graphics adapter and use the intel integrated graphics (should be HD2000 or HD3000). If that runs the game it would verify that it is an issue specific to the ATI GPU in your machine.
Mine are already as low as can be

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5450

Used HP system to check if drivers were out of date. The answer is everything is update to date.

It wont let me update mine for some reason... and i used the auto detect

Try checking HP's website for drivers for your laptop. This link should get you started for that:

HAH! I'm not the only one with this issue! And it's annoying too. Every time I chat, I don't realize I'm dying until... well, I'm dead. In the shop, I can't see squat to buy anything, so I spend about 1 minute sorting through the colorful... things.
