Actually, yes, armor is useless unless you're stacking it to Malphite/Rammus levels of derp or have a massive personal armor steroid like Leona. Short of that amount, Black Cleaver and proper spam of Armor Penetration will reduce your armor to zero or next to it. If one Black Cleaver doesn't give them true damage, then they just buy a second one.

Riot has effectively killed tanks which are not Mundo and Sejuani, who can get away with stacking derpass amounts of health because it actually gets them something and That Which Must Not Be Spoken Of has yet to be imported over from TT, probably because Nome actually read at least 30 seconds of the outrage caused when he brought over BFT.

Of course, I just mentioned Sejuani and implied a degree of usefulness in one sentence, so that was all just invalidated.

MR is still fine - you can't stack magic pen infinitely. Because the amount of % pen on Void Staff went down, once you have enough magic resist, it's affected less by pen than before. If you are really concerned about penetration, though, there's always Ninja Tabi and Odyn's Veil, as well as health like others mentioned.

Bulwark is pretty much the last Tank Hope, something like Bulwark+Fromal because if you build armor you'll be losing tons of gold to stacked cleavers leaving you in 0 armor.

Best tank build is probably Boots, Bulwark, Frozen mallet, Cleaver, Cleaver, Cleaver

Yes, MR still viable, and you should buy MR. Spending gold on armor is a waste of time though. Black cleaver just shred all armor to nothigness. Black cleaver makes a 5 ad team perfectly viable. how do you counter it? stacking armor? lol.

yeah AR and MR are pretty worthless.
muramana is amazing on ryze, but he just melts late game due to the massive dmg and defense mitigation.
as for stacking health: why hello there BfT.... a "counters health stacking" item....

Armor is garbage till BC is removed, just don't play tanks period.

They stack Tears and cuddle up in a corner. That's what all my tanks decided to do.
