She kept healing

She hit 6 and beat me because I was out of mana

Her R range has the same range as my Q

She won.

I wouldn't recommend maxing Q first on Syndra anyway. Max W, so that you can grab a minion and then when they're slowed you can guarantee that you'll land that Q (and if you position the Q right, follow up with an E).
