its annoying having to keep AA'ing forever while u charge up the ult. i think it would benefit darius more if his ult was just a constant damage source at its max at all times. also makes getting triple kills in team fights even plausible

Honestly, you have an ult that auto refreshes if you kill someone. (Not to mention it is incredibly easy to ks with it). Don't get too greedy.

I see this as a feasible option if riot would then remove the champion from the game five minutes later for being unbalanced beyond repair.

Why don't you just play a simulator where you simply press R and it tells you that you're the greatest?

That is what balances him out, if you want it to deal max damage at all times, then the damage would need a heavy base damage nerf or would have to remove his pull altogether, either or.
