They gave ad casters ONE new good item.

And you wonder why people stack it?

Because there are no better options. Give ad casters more than one option.

So many ignorant posts like this and people still don't realize that stacking them is FOR the extra AD/HP/CDR/FLAT ARPEN.

here's an example of the 4 BC on Wukong lvl 18

2103 + 1000 HP = 3103 HP
112 + 3 masteries + 6 runes + 200 AD = 321 AD
60 ARPEN + 6 masteries + 12 runes = 78 FLAT ARPEN
40% MAX CDR
30% ARMOR SHRED
8% ARMOR PENETRATION

503 Q + 407 E + 2341 R = 3251 DMG not including any auto attacks or ignite

So you got 3251 DMG in 3 spells on a target with let's say 170 Armor

170 ARMOR x 30% Shred off Q = 119 x 30% Shred off BC = 83 x 8% Armor pen = 77 - 78 flat armor pen = 0

That's 3251 true damage in 3 spells to a target with 170 armor.
What I'm saying is you can kill anyone with 170 armor and 3251 HP with 3 spells.
Mundo got 4k hp? add in 3 auto attacks.

I remember Riot saying the problem with any good AD caster item was that it would work even better for a bruiser. Since bruisers are the natural counter to AD casters, making better items for AD casters actually allows them to be shut down harder.

At first I thought that sounded like bullsh*t, but after going against a Garen stacking black cleavers I realized it wasn't. I do think they need to make the armor pen. and cdr unique on black cleaver to stop it from being stacked, though.

You do know these patch changes are not permanent? ....

I don't know about you guys, but Spirit of the Elder Lizard is pretty boss too since it works on spells. Gives all your harass abilities more harass.

Twitch does so much true damage with it and Runaan's Hurricane.

Not as useful as BC of course, and you can't stack it.

Where the heck are the AD items with Spell Vamp? Oh it's only available on Twisted Treeline and it got disabled...

What? All patches are permanent. What changes is Riot adjusts an item. And it doesn't change the fact that people are still abusing this and shutting down entire teams in a matter of seconds. Tanks can no longer do their job. This is a problem for me because I like to play ADC's. I cannot do my job if my front line cannot survive.

Well I don't think Riot really expected people to stack it. Nobody ever did in the PBE, in fact I really didn't see the item itself used all that often. Probably why it got released so strong. We just looked at it and went "oh yeah black cleaver cool whatever, but check out HURRICANE AND TIAMAT."

the CDR shouldn't stack, other than that i seems fine.

any other champion are strong by stacking BC too ? maybe riven ?
