As a player who always plays 3s before 5s and only plays 5s with friends and ranked there sometimes i would really like a draft pick when i don't want to do ranked games. Its just annoying when the enemy picks some of the 100% banned champs in normals when you're just trying to have fun.

That being said Riot can you please put draft pick in 3s all my friends that i play with agree i assume it is not hard at all to add it and it would not be time consuming for you to do imo, and would please a large portion of 3s players. It is also a way to practice for ranked games in 3s as well which clearly there is not atm seeing as 3s normals is just to unbalanced not being able to ban 3 champs.

Try emailing riot support i doubt they'll read this

I've actually been considering posting a formal request to RiotNome about this. There's been multiple posts about this as a possibility but a quick search of the forums yields the conclusion that a Riot Dev has never actually directly responded to us about it...

So, it would be nice if this were to get enough attention to warrant a conclusive answer from Nome about whether or not they know this is even wanted, if they are working on it, or if they won't do it and why. Either way, Bump + Vote.

Just a thought, maybe they're postponing it till after the "beta" phase finishes... Just another possibility lol, I guess wait it out till we either get a response or it appears.

Yeah that may be a good idea, hopefully they will at least read this tho so there will be no need. Maybe you could email them as well it wouldn't hurt?

Yeah smart thought there in your edit, but then if its in this "beta" phase why is there even ranked games then (its good they at least have ranked tho seeing as i had 3s team working on gold before this map came out (wish they kept both since 3s was only thing i played last 2 seasons but that on its own is a whole other subject, since there were strategys to counter enemys turtle anyways) and it messed with our plans since we had to re develop strategys and what not to try again, and i managed to get Gold in this since i was trolled way to far down in solo queue that i just did not even want to play till season 3 on that which thankfully i am not in Elo hell anymore now for 5s.

Yeah I hope they listen to us 3s players and put it in since they changed the map completely on us and from looks of it old one will never return so at least give us draft if they cant even give us both maps.

Yeah Darius is just annoying and is 100% banned in ranked games unless you want to pick him with first pick and the opposing team didn't ban them (I've still won games vs him tho due to player skill not being there and he's not unkillable but just annoying/pretty OP in 3s compared to 5s)

Teemo is another strong pick due to his ability to pretty much ward the map (Damaging/Slowing ward on that) to get awesome map control (can be countered with oracles but even with them you still hit the ones on sides of bushes since either you decide to enter bush from side or middle and either place could have shrooms). On top of that he still is very good with his bind/poison/movement speed giving him ability to kite for days if played right.

Yep, normals are way to unbalanced for practicing for ranked 3s, and i dont feel like playing Darius or singed (main bans that are practically 100% banned) every time i do a normal game just cause how easy they are to play and because i main jungle characters and love jungle in 3s (i'm sure Darius could jungle decently tho lol but never tried it)

I wonder if diamond players jungle, i know its pretty much needed at Gold Elo levels tho (this is entirely another topic tho)

why have draft pick when you could have solo queue ranked?

The same reason there's both draft normals and solo queue in 5s
