Make new 3v3 map for season 3, make new items for said map.

Make Bruiser item that build out of Heart of Gold and Brutalizer.

Launch Pre Season shortly after and remove Heart of Gold.

This makes me think that the people designing the 3v3 map had no clue about season 3 changes, and that the people making season 3 changes had no idea what was going on with the 3v3 map.

If i am wrong in assuming that then i do not understand why that happened. I find it really hard now to build gp5 on AD champions, and since i played a lot of support yorick (on SR and TT to an extent) that leaves me a little lost.

I'm pretty sure they removed pillager and RiotNome said they were remaking it

Lord Van Damm's pillager was disabled because it conflicts with The Black Cleaver. The name and artwork will be repurposed for another item sometime in the future.

Further, the removal of Heart of Gold was done independent of RiotNome's team's work on TT/Dominion itemization - as was the re-make of The Black Cleaver.

Bottom line is you don't build GP10 items on AD champions with the exception of Avarice Blade.

pillager was op, sad to see it go, but prob for the best

pillager was meant for ad casters, i believe riot didnt think how well would it actually work on bruisers
