i.e. - I have a client who's kid got in trouble at school. Lets just say he did some really dumb things while drunk (don't fight the police who are just showing up to break up a party because it's loud).
Is it a win because I convinced him to have him plead nolo to the charges, where if he follows a diversion program (including 100+ hours of community service, paying a fine, writing letters, etc) which once he completes it successfully he gets the charge vacated from his record?
Or is it a loss because I didn't get an acquittal?
I never know the answers to these things.
I 100% of the time try to do what's best for my client, even if they disagree with me at times.
