Riot is marketing Nami as a support, therefore the sheeple must follow this.

Because it sucks, a lot.

Why buy a support, Just to turn it into a dps champion? There are others far better for that already.

There are a bunch of better choices then a mid Nami, and I love Nami.

Because support players very rarely get champions specifically made for them. Second one this year, second time the rest of you ******s take the new support away while hogging mid lane as always.

If you want to play Nami, play support. Scumbag.

My only problem with it is that she won't have much burst in lane without being in close for extended periods of time... on a squishy champ going against a bursty one. To make full use of her ratios/dmg you need to get off 3 auto attacks, either have an extra enemy or ally present, and hit a slow moving/small AoE skill shot.

That seems like a lot of risk for average reward at best.

why would you pick a support if you're going to play mid, who is usually a magic damage dealer?

if you want to support and do damage, play orianna or zyra mid. not nami.

Because solo mid Nami isn't viable. At all.

She's no good at any other role other than support.
