Any source of damage at all that does not proc Rylai's(and there for spell vamp) should proc life steal. This includes damage from items like malady or champs abilities that add damage onto a hit.

That would be a nightmare you already get back more than enough with just auto attack and the few spells it works on. For an ap you cant hope to come even close to the same restorative qualities.

Gee, you want a Darius dunk to heal him? And a chogath nom? Or maybe Vayne's passive? Hahaha...no...no...nooooo, this would necessitate lifesteal nerfs all around and then ADC's would be up in arms.

Darius dunks and Cho'gath noms already trigger spell vamp, so no issue there.

Better idea... Make all physica ldmaage (source nowithstanding) proc lifesteal and all magic damage (souce notwithstanding) proc spellvamp.

Nothing is wrong with teemo's on hits healing himself . Every other ADC hit heals themself. When teemo is played as an ADC, he should get the same treatment.



If you look through all the abilities that don't proc rylai's or items that do extra damage, your see it is not a problem and it will fix a huge balance issue.

1: Teemo isn't an ADC. He isn't another ADC, so the point about having the same treatment as an ADC is moot.

2: Everyone else generally needs to spend mana or apply a committed combo to deal bonus damage, Teemo gets it for free.

3: Life-steal problems are largely solved for hybridized damage with Blade of the Ruined King, insuring you still get reliable sustain regardless of what your other items are.

4: Teemo has such amazing synergy with Liandry's Torment he shouldn't be played as an ADC ever now.

I was talking about the role ADC, not actually gearing AD. Also this isn't just about teemo. It is about on hit effect of all champs and items. This is about removing the sustain penalty an ADC gets when they do anything other then AD, crit, haste for their auto attack damage.

Show me a build with respectable lifesteal that doesn't have high AD and instead has multiple on-hit items.
