What reasons are you joining? I joined for the college money.

Actually that's irrelevant, there's long hours usually 5am-7pm, tons of bull****, and a lot of people who will make your life miserable. But you will get to do some things most people will never do. And in the end it's an incredibly rewarding experience. Just expect a lot of bull **** and time given. If you can deal with that you're good

P.s. bootcamp sucks, but try to keep in mind it's only three months.

Hm, iv actually given this years of thought. And I figure they both have to have the same weakness, the throat. So I can aim for a larger throat instead of 100

What had been your favorite moment in the marines since you have joined?

My second deployment by far, I was attached to engineers and got a lot of time to spend with locals. I was part of a road improvement/construction team. So basically I built roads for the locals to drive on so they had better roads and trade could be easier between villages. We slept on the roades so yes it was more dangerous for Taliban attacks but seeing and meeting the locals and talking to them, having them cook their delicious goat tacos, and exchanging food for scarves and little awesome Afghanistan Knick knacks was a lot of fun.

Note to the "Onfg u kill babiz n wumon" I built roads for the culture and enjoyed every moment I spent there improving their lives even just a little. Also, the locals love us because contrary to what you read on a website the Taliban attack the Locals if they don't help the Taliban with tasks. So eat it. /endrant
