Noob question, but I see "unique" and assume it means only one person on the team should get it.... But I've been told its "unique per person" ... So if 2-3 people got wota and zekes, you'd end up stacking pretty quick....

And I can't convince anyone in game to try it... So.... Which is it? I know one person getting two doesn't change anything, but can 2 people with it double the aura?

How Unique Auras work: If two people have Will of the Ancients, it will not give the team 40% spell vamp, BUT, the way it's coded makes it so one holder gets the aura from the other while still benefiting from their own for some reason. So the two users would have 40% spell vamp, but they would be the only ones benefiting from having 2 on the team.
