Mai's vanishing act was short lived. She'd appear behind something, trying to keep to the shadows in his chamber and stay hidden. Why is it she kept getting herself into this position with Urgot? It frustrated her to no end. Quickly her gaze rushed about in search of something to escape through. A window, another door, a hole in the ceiling? Was there any way out?

Her jaw tightened at his words, but she kept hidden the best she could. That was her only real trick for getting out of these spots. Would she be able to find another way to escape? Her tail feathers spread a bit as she rolled her tail behind her like a contemplative cat, eying the barred up windows and the locked door. She had to think fast, or she wasn't going to make it out of here in one piece.

Mai couldn't hide for ever. And he was provoking. This did not sit well in the slightest. She'd suddenly come rushing out from Urgot's left, her speed amplified with a push from her wings as she attempted to gouge her claws into his eyes with a hiss of rage escaping her at every attempt. Her wings flapped around wildly like a bird pecking at an intruder trying every attempt to gain the advantage in a fight that was clearly not in her favor.

*he closes his eye to prevent damage and swings his acid hunter through the air rapidly to do some damage*

Her attack did - nothing? That truly sucked as she found herself struck in the shoulder with the acid burner, sending her flying into a nearby wall quickly with her head and shoulder being the first to impact. With a painful grunt, and the sound of her body impacting the cold stone, she would slide down to the ground shakily. Blood pooling down along the side of her head with her fingers gripping at the crevices in the stone to try to stand. The world was a big mess to her, spinning around from the impact.

*He picks her up and slams her into a nearby wall, wanting to make sure she had no more fight left in her*

Mai's body was lifted, her wings hung loose as she struggled to grab at his wrist. The impact against the wall a second time caused her to let out a gargled cry of pain, her head coating in fresh blood and bruising rapidly with her hands shakily trying to dig her claws into his wrist desperately trying to make him let go. She was an absolute mess.

*He throws her to the ground, pacing around her*
