Since the latest patch where Diana W range was changed, I find it nearly impossible to hit the spider with W.

Clicking the spider will put me in melee range but the balls will not reach, if I try to move "inside" it it always seems to "attack" instead.

This cause me the problem where I can't renew my shield and as such prevents me from having both hp and damaging the creature.

Could it be fixed to at least reach enemies that i can hit with melee attacks?

This is because Vilemaw has some fancy scripting to prevent you from going behind him. I'll get this fixed... one day...!

Nome, I think the issue he is talking about isn't map specific. Since the last patch, Diana's W sometimes does not out-range her basic attacks in SR.

Also, I'm not suggesting what you have said is incorrect (I wouldn't have a clue), but this could be contributing to it.
