Did he? The gameplay actually looks pretty well done for the new 3d models that they're using. The only fault I really see is the very high knock-up that all characters have when they're dropped on the floor and can get combo'd into a super very easily (seems like tech-rolling is gone from the vids anyway). I'll have to google around to see where Justin Wong expresses dislike towards the game engine. Personally it seems like a well made engine considering the 3d models. I still preferred that they stick to the 2d models, but whatever.
