So, I'd say they need a nerf or make the passive unique.
I'd like to add it's a great item just the passive needs to be made unique.

Wow... The enemy team built even squisher than you, it was a gg but the people you were facing were extremely squishy and im thinkin any build you did with riven in that situation(Thats viable ofc) would have done just as good

I dont know anyone unskilled enough to stack 3 of the SAME items to begin with, The enemy team could have easily countered you but i bet you they were qqing just like this whole section seems to be and just gave up like that ww did and sold all his items. And for the record ive seen people do MUCH MUCH better by building items completely different without any black cleavers involved. Your in normals, dont think its so good, go to ranked and produce the same result multiple times, than it may be a pretty good build, most people dont care about normals and use them to test things or to mess around.

Lol, I find it funny that you say go to ranked and do this when you don't do all that many ranked games yourself. Some people only play normal games, It's not about being countered or giving up it's the fact that I could do this in the first place and still do well. I wasn't doing this to prove my ''skill'' I was just doing it for the fact that I've seen it done so much and wanted to try it out myself.

Its not that im saying your trying to prove your skill or anything like that, Im merely trying to point out that alot of people dont really try in normals, and if that game was the case of some people like that than they didn't feel like countering or know the counter, ive seen it in the past couple ranked ive played and it doesn't seem to hold strong, its not really that good of a build and im saying that its really not even worth trying because imo i find alot of fun in this game is experimenting builds and seeing what works well together not just building one item, where the fun in that?

Actually, I think what made a big difference is that Vane and Akali both got decent kill scores, and the fact that they had 2 supports and no tank, while your team was relatively balanced. Otherwise Varus would have carried his team, I imagine. Hard to say without seeing the Grid or better yet, watching the game. For all I know, WW was a rage-quitting, compulsive feeder (not saying he was), and Nami could never help but fall to Varus (not saying that was the case).

Also, as noted, you could have been easily stopped by any or all of them; but the fact that you can pubstomp by stacking cleavers doesn't mean that Riot needs to trash a decent item just because a number of people aren't thinking outside the box.

So you asked to see this in ranked, it's not high Elo but regardless it still worked very well for him. He could Pretty much one Combo any of us.
