I was just wondering what everyone thinks about Valves latest announcement:

is this going to be a LoL killer?
Or do you think that if someone who wants to play a DoTA game and is willing to pay for it is already playing HoN?

I love LoL and I don't see anything that would make me want to pay for HoN...

This won't kill LoL. Those that want to play will continue to play, and the community will go on. Sure we may lose a few hard core or nostalgic players but LoL will live on.

Anyway, I think that Valve is too late to the game. It will do better than S2 and HoN just by the name of the dev and game. But Riot has a huge lead, just had a very successful tourney in WCG with Thousands of people watching the streams. Granted LoL has a long way to go yet, but by the time that Dota2 comes out where will LoL be at?
