First off, riot rules. So no hating riot in this Thread


Anyways....

Are any of you guys or riot, gonna try out this DoTA game valve is making? I never played DoTA, but from what I have heard, it was really good.

I may try it out, but riot has my attention right now.

How far do you guys think it will go? Do you think it will be Successful?

Enjoy the thread before its gone. Dota...run by valve....HoN will be wiped out and LoL will see a decrease in profits but they wont die due to being free.


I cant wait for dota2

Still no news about Episode 3...

About DOTA? They are going to use the same technique they used with Team Fortress 2.
Hire modders, release lots of patches and muchos, muchos novelty hats.

I think Dota 2 will be much better than HoN, and will encourage HoN to adopt a better strategy than copying DotA or really lose all of their ability to expand through profits. However, I think LoL will have a more friendly learning curve even with their coaching series and still do well. Valve is bringing MOBAs into the limelight; this is not a bad thing for the health of the genre.

I'm looking forward to trying out DoTA 2. I never really played the first DoTA that much because by the time I got into it, it was already saturated with players who knew what they were doing. Ontop of that, an outdated engine and a counter intuitive UI, I couldn't get into it.

I always did like the heroes though .

I'll probalby end up playing both this, and LoL. If swtor doesn't obliterate them both.
