Shunpo does almost no damage in itself. And a good morde will always have at least 50% of his shield up at all times, rendering Kat pretty useless. Kat is an assasin, she can't stand toe-to-toe with really anyone. Laning with her you usually just poke you targets down until you can shunpo, ult, ignite them. With Morde you're going to have a pretty hard time doing that.

k ill rephrase... so even you can understand...

shunpo (-10% dmg on kat or was it 15%)
morde use e to get shield maxed(oh miss kat)...shunpo is same range
dagger (next hit hurt)
the circle dagger thingy(she run like the wind)
morde cant chase and cant use his mace hit skill...she too fast

note: dagger could be used before shunpo...

6 sec later...morde could use his stuff to get shield....
if he does no e or q to dmg kat....(so she take ctl of minion)...morde = no shield

Kat is easy peasy. You Go up to creeps, and E. This gives you at least a half shield, making her Q do not damage. She Shunpos to you, and you Q her.
