Ok so am having a problem that has been going on for around 4 months. I have talked to my isp several times and they keep giving me reasons there latest reason was the dampness (We had a lot of wet weeks) was causing my lag and frequent disconnects. I would really like to have the help from a expert thats not from my isp, i don't trust them at all.

Seems like the best bet would be to get a better isp if you don't trust your current one.

Also, info such as what kind of connection you have, the device you are using the connect as well as the firmware version of the device could assist any future internet expert that has the time to look into this.
