I really think it would be a great idea if Riot would make an option to flip the HUD for Purple team. It seems to me that having the bottom portion of your screen blocked off by the HUD is a severe disadvantage in 5v5. 90% of the time you are moving in the direction of the HUD, which blocks a large portion of the screen. Your opponent, however, is coming at you with almost nothing blocking their visibility. This gives Blue team a distinct advantage in poking because they can see Purple on the edge of their screen before Purple can see Blue. And in a game where range can mean everything, that small distance becomes a huge boon to Blue team.

My solution is to make a flippable HUD. Put the Champion Stats, Mini Map, and Spell Bar at the top of the screen for Purple team. This will give both teams a completely even playing field and will negate any potential advantage of being stuck on one side of the map instead of the opposite side.

i think the only reason this isnt done already is because then top lane wouldnt be top lane for both sides. (Same with other lanes.) At least purple can steal baron easier

+1 on UI rework for Purple (or the entire in-game UI in general)

Honestly I don't have any issue when on purple side, maybe shrink your ui down some and you will see plenty, I really hope this is a suggestion for a OPTION to do this and not a FORCED suggestion.

I think you can flip the hud manually.

You can flip the HUD horizontally. I mean flip it vertically so that when you're on purple team the majority of the HUD is at the top of the screen, therefore giving you the equal vision as blue team. Flipping the HUD wouldn't change the lanes. The map would still stay the exact same. You'd just be swapping the mini map, spell bar, and champ info to the top of the screen.

And this would most definitely need to be an option and not forced on people.

I completely agree. I think that it should be an option, however, I doubt it would be disabled by any. I think that the "remove bottom HUD wall" option was trying to get at this, but it is still there for most of the HUD and makes it virtually impossible to get those long-range hits when playing as purple team.
