If you don't say anything you can get nailed with failure to communicate with your team. This is why the Tribunal doesn't work. It's a highly flawed system that often results in improper punishment, a lot like the US judicial system. The fact that you can be reported without the reporter actually typing a reason is ridiculous, and that a single person reporting you in a game can get you sent to the tribunal. There should be a requirement to post a reason (and a function on the Tribunal page that forces you to click something to read each reason and at least scroll to the bottom of the chat log before being able to vote), and have at least 3 people required to report you. The second part alone will remove most of the false reports from people just raging.

As for groups of people troll reporting, just set something up so people who have played in a game with someone else in the past 24 hours can only report once or something.

I've sent 2 new support tickets (total 4 not counting replies) since my first support ticket account doesnt seem to get any more replies, I might be paranoid but it might indeed be flagged as less important after repeating myself. Also I wrote another mail to lyte, no sign of him being active anywhere yet tho.
