Why isn't Darius's ult channeled or have a range limit?

Maybe the wiki was wrong, but I don't think it's a random player.

and yes, that would be nice. Could be a bug or something actually. Blitz grab and tf ult used to have an issue like that I think. Grabs you from accross the map cuz the channel didnt stop.

Causing a 300+ second cooldown for free is actually a pretty good trade. When someone escapes Skarner's ult that way, it completely refreshes. I would like Darius's ult to function that way also.

Then he has to catch up in the other departments, but hey.

I can always go top Kayle and make his existance completely useless unless I get uber camped, but that's not the point. :P

I just use whoever I feel like. Even the champs darius can counter, he has to do something specific to do so and this can often be exploited. As ahri top I once examined his behavior and figured out what runes he was probably running and told my team his build pattern. He fed enormously and I didn't get any kills nor did I die or fall behind in cs

His animation is still pretty long in my opinion.
