so basically all veteran players are gonna get from this announcement... "hey its gonna take us longer to give u champs and they're gonna cost more... and hey remember all that **** you invested in... we're gonna make it easier for other people to get now. have a nice day"
riot fail.

Sorry bro, but League of Legends isn't your exclusive vault, and you still have more than pretty much 99.9% of people. How people this privileged can complain about stuff is so foreign to me. "Spoiled" is really the only word that comes to mind. If you don't like the price hike, you have the option of WAITING.

I'm disgusted by companies who do things like this.
Its like this...."Oooh girl, I'm breaking up with you so you can study more. This is for your benefit."
Please, don't insult the players intelligence.

You've already marred your own argument by calling me a moron, however, I'm in a good mood, so I'll still dance with you.
Suppose the PRIMARY purpose of increasing the initial IP Cost is to encourage more people to buy with RP. SO WHAT? So you are saying that as a company, Riot should not raise prices to make more money? Even if they didn't give us multiple benefits to accompany this price hike, it is still within their rights as a company to raise prices to make more money. However, they are raising the price of ONE PRODUCT TEMPORARILY. Each time they do this, they PERMANENTLY LOWER THE PRICE OF A PRODUCT OF EQUAL VALUE.
Mind you, this is an a price hike of an artificial currency that they provide to you FOR FREE to play their FREE GAME, so that you have an alternative option which allows you to play ZERO DOLLARS.
Your analogy is trash. It's so bad, that I can't even figure out a way to twist it to being correct. Anyone reading this, please feel free to enlighten me if you can make more sense of it than I can.

This isnt like selling vehicles where prices go down gradually because the car itself doesnt hold up to the performance of the newer vehicles being created or runs out of demand. This is a game where champions dont lose their performance and everyone can have that same champion without waiting for it to be made in an assembly line. I keep things simple and its not to much to ask for riot to give my hard earned IP back after you lower the price of a champion I worked so hard to get. I speak for all players you deserve your ip back, Is it fair that you give to a company for years and they dont give back occasionally? We put riot where they are today because of playing their game, and buying their merchandise, thats how we thank them, through constantly supporting them and giving them new ideas to build off of to make this a better game. Don't just say thank you to your fans, actually show that you really appreciate us. All of the information i read on this forum is just a spit in my face as a player.

What are you even saying? Just because the price of something goes down does not mean you are entitled to a refund. In NO BUSINESS OR MARKETING is this ever a thing. In fact, RIOT IS BREAKING THE MARKETING META by refunding people who have recently bought their product just because they lowered the price. There are no other companies in any branch of business that will do this for you. If you buy a product, then the price goes down, and you say, "Hey, I want a partial refund on this, you just lowered the price." YOU WILL GET LAUGHED AT.
In fact, the idea is so foreign that marketing experts and specialists would laugh at Riot and say "What? You're refunding your customers because they bought the product before you lowered the price? Ha, you fools. People are going to start to think you care more about your customers than your profits. Sentimental saps."
I do think people should feel entitled to a refund on Legacy Skins, ONLY BECAUSE part of the implication is that you were purchasing something that was going to be exclusive. When all of a sudden, that thing becomes much less exclusive, your purchase of exclusivity has been violated. However, in the case of normal product (regular skins/champs) this is not the case.
How is saying "Oh, these 7 champs are cheaper, RP costs across the board are cheaper, and each time we release a new champion, 1 equally expensive champion will become cheaper as a result" "a spit in your face as a player". You appear to be self-entitled, and don't seem to appreciate Riot, who gives you a FREE game to play.
