Nobody is asking for Katarina buffs. This thread is about diversity.

That doesn't change the fact that an AD build is itemizing for AD by level 6, and an AP build is itemizing for Magic Pen. So it's entirely possible to have a scenario in which AD Kat has Boots1, and BF Sword and 20 odd from runes/masteries. AP Kat has Sorcs and a Tome, and whatever AP he has from runes/masteries as well, likely around 50.

It's highly possible that AD Kat has more than 50 bonus AD, while all AP has going for it early game is penetration, and low amounts of AP that items with penetration offer, and whatever he gets from runes/masteries, if any.

Kat has a tendency to need flat defense runes.

You shush. An AD ratio back on Q wouldn't bring back Kats stacking AD marks and winning lane with Q spam like pre-rework. Bouncing Blades just isn't that powerful anymore.

But she is fine and hasn't been this balanced in months. Show me a form of statistical evidence that she's overpowered compared to other champions and carries games for her team too often. You claiming with anecdotal evidence that she's OP or by just suggesting she's OP doesn't give me a reason to take your post seriously.

Your Q is meant to set up its passive so when you E>W it procs the mark. By giving her Q an AD ratio it makes it harder for the opposing mid laner to build against you as it's your main form of harass. All that bringing an AD ratio on her Q would do is promote Gunblade rushes and skyrocket her winrate because she'd become the perfect hybrid champion.

Who said she was overpowered? It sure as **** wasn't me. If you're gonna make statements like that, at least quote the person you're talking to.

Wait, so why are you suggesting she be changed? She needs no QoL changes, she needs no buffs, nerfs, changes ... you're asking for changes for the sake of changes?

An AD ratio on Q wouldnt cause more diversity if you nerf the AP ratio. That'll just cause gunblade rushing again instead of haunting guise rushing. In other wors, itll cause a hybrid build instead of a an ap build. People wont have the option to build either ap or hybrid, theyll just have the option to build hybrid. Kat's different but she's fine. She still needs to decide whether to harass or farm with Q, when to trade and how to do it, and when to use ults.
