Trinity force actually uses metric, not imperial tons. It is a common misperception.

300 gold for the upgrade.

Upgrade gives: +10 attack damage, +5 AP, +%12 attack speed, +%3 move-speed, +50 health.

+10 AD= 400 gold +5 AP= ~109 gold +12% attack speed= 380 gold +50 Hp=132 Gold

That is more than 1k gold in stats...

At this point you already have more than 3 times what you are paying in stats, and we have not even factored in the effectiveness of the extra %50 damage on the proc or the extra move-speed.

Depends on the champions, Ezreal or a Shaco with trinity force can be really annoying
