So a guy last night whom I was playing Magic with saw scars on my tighs and asked how I got them. Just wondering if you guys think this question was rude or okay to ask.

Feel free to ask anything about the situation.

How did he see your self-harm scars?

Were you playing Strip Magic the Gathering?

That sounds so awesome that it would probably cause the universe to implode.

I was wearing a knee-length skirt, so when I sat down it rose up to show my tighs.
No strip Magic yet, although it was mentioned.

Wanna know how I got these scars? My father, was a drinker...and a fiend. And one night, he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen to defend herself. He doesnt like that. Not...one...bit. So, me watching, he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. He turns to me, and he says, "Why so serious?"

Scars tend to be conversation starters.

While awkward, I wouldn't say it was rude.

I find some scars arousing... so I definitely ask about them unless I am able to determine they were self harming scars and not from a lion attack or motorcycle accident. Huge scars though, I have to ask about, maybe even touch.

Maybe he was just concerned.

Maybe he meant to be rude. He should of known where those scars came from. Seems like a stupid question.

Rude if he just met you.

If you are kind of friends, it's not rude at all.

Also don't cut yourself, that's a really fucking retarded thing to do.

Well we did end up all comparing scars.
I won due to some dodgy surgical scars.

My scars are a mix of self-half, parental abuse, work accident, bike accidents, boils and surgeries.
