When I was four we found a stray dog that we named March & adopted.
This puppy always liked to sleep underneath the tire of our car for some reason.
That didn't end well by the next day & we had to bury him. This was shortly after my grand-mother passed away the month before.
This was a lot of pressure for me since I was only four years old but on the other hand I can now think of it as her now having a pet to adopt in that next life...

Sorry man. Losing a pet is always tough.
