LOL.. people who dont know how to avoid skills shots.... then they cry OP... many champs can counter Lux mid... Talon is number 1 in my books... Talon can close the gap when she tries to snare.. Silence her and bleed her out... then repeat the move on the next minion wave... Morde should be able to do well vs Lux mid... push the lane back on her... force her to farm under tower and keep your shield up.... Morgana is good counter to lux... if for whatever reason you get caught and cant dodge the snare or ulti pop your black shield to cancel the snare or minimize the damage...

very easy to play against Lux.... just have to remember to not stand still and not be predictable...

She has far too strong of poke, and way too much control over lane and team fights. Unless there is an assassin on your team, any composition with a lux has a higher win probability. This promotes stale match ups and seriously boring right left strafing, and /afk mindsets.

I am not QQ'ing about her damage, that is fine. Her cool downs seem to be the problem with her entire kit. I believe she was fine before the Magic Resist reduction on items ,and the removal of FoN. Now with less movement and less health regen her poke leaves a dent in anyone even after consistently building magic resist and health. Whether riot or the community wants to believe it or not, health regen was the main stat for champions to counter any kind of poke champion and be able to stay high enough in health to be able to tank for their team without going back to base every 4 minutes.

After the patch i only played Proving Grounds, i experimented with every singe champion in League. The only champion who can consistently win and maintain a heavy Kill/Death ratio and carry their team regardless of composition was Lux. Lux excels in lane and is believed to drop off somewhat after late game and that is why she excels in Proving Grounds... Right? The problem is I have been playing normals now after the recent patch and have found she is incredibly similiar in normals in that no melee champion can approach her without being locked down. She maintains her damage throughout the game all the way into late game, and then becomes an anti-tank, anti-carry, and still has the ability to support with shields and CC.

So all i ask is for some kind of cool down increase of 1 second on each of her skills and maybe a 4 or 5 second increase on her ultimate to compensate for the removal of health regen.

Sincerely, Bmmagical
I don't want to read your list of complaints simply because I played Lux for a long time now and I know her ups and downs. Yes, her poke is excellent in contrast to some of the other casters out there. She out ranges the majority of them. But! Her level 5 E cost 130 mana. Now Lux is supposed to max E over everything else ('cept ult obviously) and at level 9, one poke that eats 1/5 of her mana away sounds rather unappetizing for me. Now onto her animations. Some say Lux's shield and snare make her lane extraodinarily safe from gankes...however, one missed fact is that all of her skills require her to stop in her tracks, in order to fulfill its function. Which means she have no escapes regarding to lane safety. Second thing I like to adress is she is like a female version of Ezreal; all of her abilities are skill shots. What that means is all of Lux's abilities are completely dodgable. However unlike Ezreal, her abilities does more damage, at the cost of more mana and CD. It takes an experienced Lux to fully bring out her potential. If you see a Lux that goes 18/3, it is not because the champion itself is OP, but rather the player is in fact, good.

Lux is far from OP and far from balanced.... ARAMS are not the place to gague champion balance. Lux is probably UP compared to other AP mids and is low tier.

She drops off after late game guys, so its fine. Then we have champs like Heimerdinger who do thier best before the laning phase.

In response to everything else....Lux's cd's are pretty long actually. Its her tradeoff for the damage and range. Unless she's building major cdr, not a single ability of hers has less than a 10 second cooldown.
