u can cancel his heal skill, but ur gonna get raped by 700-800 magic dmg every second in teamfights, and if he gets a kill or assist he can heal again and u wont have that stun/knockback/up/ etc

yes he did on a 5 man teams hes played many times before with voice chat in an ideal situation. all players were also pro. he would have done the same with just about any AOE mage. point is moot. even under these circumstances it still requires quite a bit of luck.

if it was truely broken riot would have nerfed him directly by now, they havent and the pro's dont think hes broken either..

i agree that hes just a troll pick, but i must say quite fun to use vs baddies who dont save their CC for his heal, especially when like 75%+ champions in the game have something that can cancel it.

ap yi must be destroyed

ap yi would fall off late game but early and mid game is just way too much

problem between trist and ap yi is that trist was genuinely insane with her burst yi just stomps over noobs because having a noob player on ur team ends up being worst then being in a 4v5 since yi gets an extra alpha if he kills them. they won't nerf ap yi cause he is used though rarely in competitive scene and he's not op against players who know how to deal with him just because low level players don't understand his skills reset mechanics

again proof why people don't know what they're talking about any champion with a multi target spell on 6 seconds cooldown with a refresh mechanic never falls off late end.

I think nerfing him would do nothing rather then make the game a bit more boring. Why not have it? It's not as broken as you speak of it being, as I'm SURE there are people that beat him in lane. Pick up mid Khazix, lee sin, and talon perhaps, In my experience talon silence > yi's heal, as well as talon being able to easily retaliate to Yi in lane, and late game interupting him and nuking him! Just my thoughts, also, just because he wasn't "designed" that way doesn't mean riot doesn't want it to be viable. They want you to experiment and have fun!
