i am sorry my friends, but we have much deeper issues than the legal status of weed. do you fools really believe congressmen/women make rational decisions or act on behalf of their constituents?
case study:
Hank Johnson, the twice re-elected US Representative from Georgia, believed that if we put too many Marines on Guam, the island would capsize and tip over into the ocean! he also has Hepatitis C(most commonly transmitted through intravenous drug use) but 'doesn't know' how he got it. he also opened a recent speech to the House of Representative with a 10-15 minute analogy involving cage-fighting midgets. isn't it a comfort knowing this man was helping us avoid the fiscal cliff?

giants need midgets!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yznX-hOFT4
now, Hank is not the only idiot masquerading as a public servant, but he is one of the least adept at concealing his incompetence. everywhere you look, partisan politics dictate policy rather than reason, gerrymandering and voting fraud are the norm, and wasteful spending is ubiquitous. this incompetence, apathy, and misconduct are present at every level of politics. the state of Illinois is a shining example! they have had 7 governors arrested or indicted and the last 2 became convicted felons while in office (the most recent one for trying to auction off Obama's vacated Senate seat).
an even more troubling example: it appears that state child protective services are not in the business of protecting children, rather they are in the business of separating children from their family (speech from former Georgia Lt. Gov. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TcDTJlPWbE). When these children enter foster care, they are frequently neglected, abused, and drugged heavily. Texas CPS has been one of the worst offenders. in fact, foster children in the state of Texas are prescribed psychotropic medications at a rate almost 5 times the national average, with dosage often exceeding recommended levels. children under the care of Texas CPS are also four times more likely to die than children in the general population.
this sort of garbage in our government goes on and on, but i guess its all alright if we can smoke weed and play video games.
