PS Cigs arn't sold unless you're 18, alcohol isn't sold unless you're 21. You assume Weed will be legal and available to infants buddy?

Yes, having a higher value dollar makes imports somewhat cheaper, but it also makes our exports a whole lot more expensive (there is a reason China is deliberately devaluing its currency). This can hurt the economy.

Also, I wouldn't mind a 2% tax increase across the board, provided it truly was across the board, since almost 50% of Americans don't pay any income tax. It is hard to care about how much the govt is spending it you aren't paying for it. Also, this needs to be accompanied by spending cuts, because 2% isn't going to do jack **** on its own.

Most of you teenagers who want your drugs so bad will have some excuse or other way to rationalize every point I have posted here. Bottom line, no matter how you try to rationalize it, marijuana will negatively affect your family relationships, your academics, your mood, your desire to work, your recreational activities, and more.

Recreational use by responsible adult is not the issue here. We are talking about the effects on teenagers and the irreversible effects it has on their future.

Speculation is cool and all. You won't find anything about some guy getting high on pot and causing anything like that however. The vast majority of the anti marijuana stuff comes from the pharmaceutical companies that don't want weed legalized anyway. Look for accident statistics over the last few years, etc etc

You people fail to realize those studies were predominately done by companies fully opposed to the competition marijuana would give them, both plastic companies and drug companies.
