Talon's only loyal to Katarina's father, though.

But seeing as how Kat's father is already missing and she isn't dead yet, I think that they can make a compromise. Your point makes more sense than mine, but I was just trying to say that if Kat and Garen loved each other, it would create a bloodier version of Romeo and Juliet. But you seem to know more than I do in the LoL lore, so I may be out of touch with the connections between the two factions.

This is just my take.

Kat and Talon pretty much see each other as siblings.

And the whole Gaen kat thing, they do like each other. Not just as rivals otherwise I feel things would have been a tad different in the whole Kalamanda thing. However they aren't retarded attraction and feelings aren't all that matters they aren't lusty teenagers. It doesn't matter how much they like each other demacia/Noxus come first its just how they were raised.

That made me laugh.

Um, I voted yes, simply because I feel it would lead to some interesting results. Both champions would be faced with an internal conflict between loyalty for their countries and feelings for each other.

Kat was the first truly challenging opponet Garen has fought since he became legendary, and the same is true for Kat. They see each other as the ultimate challenge, desiring only to fight and beat the other to prove theirs and their city state's superiority. Love can't factor into it, neither can lust
