Hey guys this i my first champion proposal, i look forward to sculpting it over the time it sticks on these forums lol.
EDIT: I know the formatting on the lore is hard to read, i copypasta'd it from my text editor and the paragraphing got all weird. i'll be working on it to get it right. it looks fine on wider screens though.

Her kidnappers fed her hardly anything and whipped her mercilessly for weeks before contacting her family, demanding a ransom. Weeks more passed as Sophie waited in torture for her family to come to her rescue. She lay in her cage and listen to the other children; they'd speak of their favorite champions and how they would cheer for them, and how they hoped that one day, their heroes would save them.

Everyday before the captives were given a loaf of bread and mud water for their meal, they were gathered to witness the lashings. Each child was stripped, tied to a rack, and whipped until the jailer became bored of his current subject, or they passed out from the pain. Those who succumbed were tossed in a pile until they woke up, those on the bottom often dieing from the weight or drowning in the blood of their fellow inmates.

As the days grew into the long summer, Sophie began to give up hope that any one from her home was going to find her, she began to hate the so called “champions” for their lack of inaction. Guards spoke of their favored champions. Katarina, Darius, Draven and their Grand General Swain. Word of a Noxian champion sending a Damacian to the healer became sweet nectar to the ears of Sophie.
The treatment of the prisoners got worse the more it seemed that a ransom was not going to be delivered. Public executions of those took weak or those to defiant were commonplace. The warden took special interest in Sophie, dragging her from the cage she called home to his tent, forcing her to service him. The warden shared his prize with the other guards and visiting wardens.

Over the 6 years she spent in the camp, seeing others writhe in the pain of the barbed lashes rending their backs became a source for entertainment to Sophie. The way the lash tore thickened, scarred skin was something of wonder. Her cage was no longer locked, there was no fear that she would leave the camp. At night Sophie would sneak into the wardens tent, or to the mess hall to entertain the guards of all genders, before returning to her cage.

Sophie willingly took up the role of punishing other prisoners, the whip in her hand felt so natural. She whipped away at the other prisoners until back bone was bare, or until the warden and guards became concerned for the prisoners health; you can't sell a broken person. Once the lashings began, Sophie would shout loud enough for all to hear: “WHERE ARE THEY? WHERE ARE YOUR CHAMPIONS NOW? WHERE ARE THE ONES WHO ARE HELD UPON A PEDISTOLE, TO BE WORSHIPED AS OUR CHAMPIONS? I'LL TELL YOU WHERE THEY ARE. EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM SITS IN A LAVISH ROOM, ENJOYING THE COMPANIE OF OTHER LAVISHLY DRESSED CHAMPIONS, NOT GIVING A SECOND THOUGH ABOUT ANYONE OTHER THAN THEMSELVES AND THEIR ARROGANT PRIDE!”

One prisoner, a frail, weak kneed girl, not of 13 years old interrupted Sophie during her speech one day. She stood up from the crowed and cried out. “You're wrong!!! I've been here just as long as you have and I know that Teemo or Caitlyn are coming to save us!” Sophie grabbed a second whip in her hand and angrily walked towards the small girl. Just within striking reach Sophie wrapped her whip around the girl and flung her into the center of the punishment arena. Walking toward the girl Sophie spoke, “Listen to me you little ****, if anyone were coming to save any of us, they would have came long ago.” Sophie began to lash at the bare chest of the girl, occasionally buffeting her face. “NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOU! IF YOU DIE NOTHING CHANGES IN THIS WORLD, THOSE WHO WE ARE TAUGHT TO LOOK UP TO, THOSE WITH POWER, THEY CHOOSE TO FLAUNT IT IN A SPORTING ARENA! TO BE WORSHIPED BY SIMPLE COMMONERS LIKE YOU”.

The warden stepped forward. “Sophie, no more, she is worth nothing to us dead or crippled.” Sophie whip ignited into flame, she lashed it at the warden incinerating him. Guards drew their weapons and rushed at Sophie. Swinging her whip high to sear the eyes of the oncoming guards and chained in place prisoners, and bringing her second whip low to throw the guards onto their backs. The guards were closing in on Sophie, crawling on the burnt bodies of their fallen comrades. Sophie began to spin, as she did in ballet as a child, twirling her inflamed whips around. Those caught in the middle of the vortex became char and were tossed beyond as embers. The prisoners who were just outside the range of the whips melted in place as the searing wind expelled from the hell before them.

Those outside the camp that witnessed the massacre reported it to the Noxian nobles. Sophie was found collapsed at the center of a scorched circle in the camp. She was then locked in chains, hanging by her hands, dressed only in what she was found in. Once Swain herd of her hated for the champions of Damacia, he offered her a chance to annihilate them in glorious battle upon the fields of justice. She willed it to be. Choosing to dress in the cloths of a Damacian noblewomen, being of Damacian birth, she chose to fulfill her desires to destroy the heroes of her homeland.[/CENTER]

This item is just pretty awesome, it give a huge boost in AP to aid in the damage dealt by Whip Flare. It gives some AD to boost your basics and ult, and it gives some AS to boost your AD even further. Gets better the longer you're in combat, which isn't the best for a some what close carry, but it's benefits are out standing.

This is just another crazy item. +50 AS to make things bonkers and +65 AP? This item aint just for Teemo. The 25% CDR is an awesome add on, allowing for more use of Whip-Latch, allowing you to leap around the battlefield. The actions per second this allows for just makes it seem like a Korean all star. The mana regen helps get you back in the game after burning your mana down with Whip Flare active.

Basic attacks deal an additional 42 magic damage
oodles of magic resist
Often under the situational items section, but I feel the bonus 42 magic damage is slightly relevant, and AS boosts your AD. The MR is just always nice to have when your mid decides to YOLO an Annie under their tower. Did I mention this gives you oodles of MR?

Stats gathererd from the core.
+131% Attack Speed(only taking into account 16 points from Guinsoo's, for an average.
+135 Ability Power(taking 24 points from Guinsoo's, for an average)
+35 Attack Damage(not including the boost from the passive)
+42 magic damage per basic attack

+34.54605 AD( boost from new Attack Speed of 2.30307)

Wow, I'm really impressed with your passive. I dunno if you worked on any of the math or not, but I looked at it and thought, "What? That must be OP." Comparing the actual benefit of some of the items the game with someone who has a base AD of 100 and a base AS of .6, the differences with and without the passive where a nice bonus, but not ridiculously high like I originally thought.

The only problem I have with this champ is her W. Logic dictates that she should either be strong enough to always pull people towards her (blitz) or light enough that she'll always fly towards them (amumu). So seeing her lash over to an allied teemo only to grab a gian nautalus towards her might seem a bit ridiculous, plus if the grab has any decent range it would be a bit OP on a bruiser in my opinion. *cough* Darius OP *cough*

She has good mobility and can direct a teamfight with her abilities, her passive is solid and something I could really enjoy carrying around the whole game, and she seems to synergize well with both AD and AP just like Jax. You sir, have my whole hearted approval.

i never thought of the scenario of jumping to an allied tiny dude to pull in an enemy large guy. If only the game had a weight to factor in then it would be simple. In the lore i'm having type she's pretty much build like a professional vollyball player. for reference on cloths and hair i'm having my girlfriend use this image of sabrina (http://www.advancedanime.com/picture...sabrina_15.jpg).
i forgot guys as large as Naut exist. i guess it could just be changed to a closer instead of a "my towers gonna have a hay day" ability.

P.S. yeah i chugged some numbers on that passive, if she were to get fed, and build up to say 2.133 AS, the boost would be 31.xx AD, so it's kind of a win more, but it also gives a cute boost to AD though-out the game. at 1.66 AS it's some 19 ad so it's kinda relevant, but she does get raped hard by thorn mail lol. i have considered if i wanna keep that part of the passive, i might drop her base AD by 5 or 10, but that makes her much weaker early game and she just wont do anything for a while.

after some more crunching i've decided to drop the base AD 5 points a starting AD of 60 is just above at what master yi starts with, and she doesn't need that much crazy, 5 puts her right with most at level 1 at 55ish(movement speed quints? lol) AD

No, too OP max attack speed = 5 hits in 2 seconds= nearly1 full second of silence for every 2 seconds. 2.5x15 =37.5 ad

you get an extra bf sword for having a full build.

a knock up. and a stun that is completely worthless till level 18
a free cleanse and an escape
an infinitely refreshing burn and a pull.
so hell no. go back and make someone less OP

It sounds very OP at the moment, but it has a lot of potential. I would like to see this champion in-game, albeit with less OPness :P

Concept (Whip champion): Good
Resource System: Mana. Fine.
Skills: 2/10
Comment: 4 second knockup is not cool or fun. Combined with a stun and 2 mobility skills. None of the skills do anything particularly uinque or interesting. Overall the champion has overpowered skills and follows the trope of having an unoriginal powerful nuke strike ult.

Overall champion concept: [Poor][Fair][Decent][Good][Great]

I'm amazed as all the coments saying that she is OP(also amazed at the rudness of the community, it truly seems as though you three are just troll posts lol, but that's a different rant.). I had already crunched the numbers on this stuff, some of it is in my notepad, the rest i have to recalculate. here are a few numbers here

She is a slower attacker than most of the other AD Carries
Sophie = .997
Vayne = 1.005
Ashe = 1.032
Master yo = 1.032
Caitlin = 1.009

She does have more health than those champs, this could be dropped down a bit
Sophie= 2120
Vayne = 1850
Ashe = 1817
Master yi = 1992
caitlin = 1830

a stun less then .5 seconds is not worthless, it interrupts and can cause serious havoc.
5 hits in 2 seconds? 2.5 AS is quite high, considering the build is most likely phantom dancer, infinity edge, wits end, blood thirster, berserkers greaves, utility/situational defence. with that build(un runed) you'd expect to have 2.1854 attack speed. The same build on Yi/ashe leaves their attack speed at 2.2506 Caityln's AS is even higher

The boost from the passive if fully built is 32.781, bringing her end game AD to 277.781. compared to ashe's whose end game AD is 284, and master yi who'se comes to 285.92

infinitely refreshing burn and pull? it cuts the cool down to half when pulled to an ally(when your ally does half the work here, it would obviously be less taxing on yourself.)

i have considered dropping the time on the silence down to .25 seconds, or increasing the count to 5

Trope of "unoriginal" powerful nuke strike ult?
1: it's an ult, it's gonna do some damage this for instance deals(at level 6/8)is 656/1548.33, compared to similar ult of wukong(which has a knock up) it deals 527.36/1612. it is powerful and i did/still do have plans to lessen the damage starting damage, 656 damage at level 6 is a bit much, i may drop the first level by 50 points of damage. it draws in when it starts and past that enemies can just walk out or(interrupt like good players) most of that damage might not even be dealt to a fast champ. the range is 500, as a reference this is just slightly smaller than Karthus's E range.

1. unoriginal? anyone else create a flaming vortex of "oh sh*t!!" in this game?


Eve's w is a free cleanse and escape. this is not something new, the wheel cant be reinvented for every ability.

PS: i have lowered Sophies health to +82.83 per level reaching 1901(1900.94) at level 18
PPS; i have lowered the silence length to .25 seconds every 4th his. this at level 18 full build 2.18 AS(lets just say 2 attacks per second)every 2 seconds spent in battle with her, her target spend .25 seconds silenced. I have also lowered her armor gain per level to make her slightly more fragile.

Update added .5 seconds to the Whip-Latch, and uploaded a concept drawing of mine, with Sophie bound in chains in a prison.

Art Update, uploaded my girlfriends original sketch of Sophie and my colourized and edited version, closer to what i want . trying to get the lore to a point it's acceptable.

Bump, also whats with all the people spamming champ ideas instead of just working on one until it's acceptable. and skin proposal for champs? come on. this is champion concepts. this board needs some moderation bad lol.
