If you're removing dodge why aren't you removing heal? I mean you're going to kill someone and a heal comes out of nowhere and he doesn't die. Wat

There's a big difference between dodging one autoattack and dodging Primordial Burst.

So you're saying that if flash didn't negate projectiles, it'd be perfectly fine?

Except you can't dodge 99% of the champion abilities in this game. So its 10% auto-attack damage reduction, really. Even then dodge is RNG, which means if you got 50% dodge chance:

Dodge Dodge Dodge Dodge Dodge Dodge Dodge Dodge (100% auto-attack reduction)

is just as likely as

Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit (0% auto-attack reduction)

is just as likely as

Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit Dodge (etc)

Dodge is like the defensive version of crits.
% chance to reduce damage taken by 100% as opposed to a % chance to increase damage dealt by 100%.

We may as well take out crits too in order to even things out.
