-- I like the idea of a new mic! You have so much great information but it's hard to listen to with all the fuzzy, snapping, popping, hissing going on.
-- As a viewer, I can easily read your notes. Would you still be able to get through your presentations if they were summarized and in bullet points? As an audience this would help me understand the main points that you're going to talk about, and if I'm able to read them a few times over as you talk about each one, the information will burn into my brain and I'll be able to remember everything you talked about even after I'm finished watching the video.
-- Something super picky: You have a great one on one presence with the viewer. You're very likeable from the start and your passion about the topic you're talking about shines through. But I can't currently SEE your passion. If you'd like to enhance your one on one with the viewer further I'd suggest removing your hood/not wearing hats.
It would be nice to see YOU better. Have your main lighting source in front of your face instead of behind you. The bright light in the back round is extremely distracting as a viewer, and is making your face dark. ( I don't mean to come off as creepy, but I'm professionally trained on these points and you asked for feedback, so I figured I'd be honest
Your lighting source in Episode 3 is better, but still not there. If you keep that light in that position, and get a diffused desk lamp that lights up your face without blinding you, it would make a world of difference.
Example of a diffused lamp (soft light): http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden...4/product.html
-- At the end of your videos when you ask for feedback or if any one has questions, provide them with contact information; whether you want them to leave it in the comments section, or an email, or provide them with a link in the youtube description to this thread so they can post there. Just make it verbally known how your viewers can contact you. It helps them feel involved, improving the one on one aspect.
-- You have a wealth of knowledge of the game and seem to have an easy time breaking it all down and communicating what you know with people who are ignorant to tips you are providing. However, your videos are lacking visual stimulants.
Like me and many, many others, I rely on an image to help me remember things. For example: I will always remember what the word 'ramify' means, because my english teacher 15 years ago explained it as "A ram running into a small tree, and the force of the ram causes branches to grow and spread out"...and that's what ramify means, to divide/spread/branch out.
Sometimes you cover multiple topics while sitting on one visual, like the same rune page, or your profile page (ex: the last half of your episode 4). Even if you brought up a picture of the specific champ you're talking about, or made your webcam center screen, or changed visuals to a relating mastery page/rune page of your topic. Anything to break up the visuals during a new section of your speech would be helpful.
You've got a lot of visual changes happening on Episode 4 between 3:00 and 8:00 and that's great!
- I think you've got a lot of potential for creating a popular well-liked series, just needs some polish here and there. Keep it up! And thank you for sharing your knowledge!
