ADAM is where it's at, but it's much harder to fill a room and a dodger sets you back a few minutes.

Can I not have fun playing fun champs that make the Proving Ground setting fun?

I play both modes for fun. It is possible. You don't have to play wonky-style to have fun.

If you're having fun...good. If you're losing the game for your team...not good.

I play a lot of Blind Pick and while it is common to see at least one blitz/nid/yi on a team it is rare to see a team stacked with all OP champions. But even then it is possible to win. One game someone convinced everyone in team select to pick support only. We had Soraka,Sona,Taric,Janna and Nami vs Blitz, Nid, Yi and two others I can't remember. We won.

Your team had a ton of sustain and several strong champs. Soraka and Janna are extremely good. Sona is simply god-tier and can easily win 4v5s. Everyone on your team had stuns or interrupts and multiple ways to enable easy Nami stuns. You have an MR aura and an Armor aura.

Your team was not bad other than being AP-heavy, and Yi and Nid are terrible against that kind of comp so yeah... I would have put all bets on your team. You actually had a really OP sustain comp, that only would have been made better by swapping one champ out with an AD carry or something.

It depends if you are actually contributing to the team. Unconventional champs are as good as the players playing it in PG.

I've seen some godly AP shaco that carried teams in ABAM and will sometimes run into that useless shaco that sits in bush all day hoping someone will trigger their boxes. Same can be said for teemo, karma, and trundle.

If you are gonna do something funky, just let the team know in champ selection what you plan on doing so they can work around it. I hate how many times I would get an instant lock ezreal just to find out hes going ap.

It's a good thing i play abam to play syndra. I get to play someone fun, strong, and i don't get birched at because I'm simultaneously also the highest damage done to champions.
